Vivo iQOO Pro & iQOO Pro 5G launched with SD 855

Well, one of the most awaited Vivo iQOO Pro series is now officially launched  today after the many leaks. This gaming centered device will be coming is 4G as well as 5G connectivity options and apart from that, there isn’t much difference between both the variants. The iQOO Pro 4G variant is already on pre-order in China and will be shipping starting 30 August while the 5G model will be going for sale from tomorrow with limited availability. The 5G variant will be released on 2nd of September and pre-booking will open on August 29.

Well, both the iQOO Pro 4G as well as the iQOO Pro 5G will come with 6.41-inch 1080 x 2340 Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Under the hood, there is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. This dual SIM variant phone will be coming out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS 9 and should also be getting further updates when available.

For cameras, Vivo has provided a 48MP main camera sensor with f/1.79 aperture along with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 12MP camera with f/2.0 aperture that also has the facial unlocking system. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor on the device and is powered with a 4500mAh battery with the support for 44W Ultra-fast charging technology.

The iQOO 4G will be coming in 8GB RAM / 128GB storage variant which is priced at CNY 3,198 (approx $451 or €407) while the bigger 12GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 3,498 (approx $493, €445). On the other hand, the 5G variant of the Vivo iQOO Pro will be offered in three storage options which are priced at CNY 3,798, CNY 3,998, and CNY 4,098 for the 8GB / 128GB, 8GB / 256GB, and the 12GB / 128GB storage.

Both the variants will be made available in Racing Black and Le Mans Blue color options and measure at 158.77 x 75.73 x 9.325 mm. The 4G variant weighs at 215 grams while the 5G variant weighs 217 grams. There isn’t any information about the global availability of smartphones as of now.
